I've looked around the internet for ages for a fix, but with no luck, leaving me here, writing this post.

This is super frustrating as the explorer would just be in a "not responding" mode until it finally would pop up or open the file. I could right click elements instantly though, but as soon as I would hover over the "Open With" option it would also take 40-60 seconds. I could navigate around the explorer with no issue, but as soon as I double clicked a file, it would take 40-60 seconds before responding and opening. Everything was working fine until one day when I turned on my PC everything was responding very slow.
